Accusations of "despicable behaviour" see the EU backtrack on vaccine regulations. With fewer than 2% of EU citizens vaccinated compared with 12% of the UK population, Brussels faces a rising tide of disquiet from EU members as the bloc fails to get a vaccine programme on track. Blaming AstraZeneca, and then seeking to invoke laws to erect a border across Ireland to block the UK obtaining vaccine stocks manufactured in Belgium, many cannot believe the behaviour of the Brussels bureaucrats. Chris Smith joins RNZ's Kim Hill to explain what's happening, and catch up with the latest Covid-19 news on new viral variants, new vaccines and fresh hope that we're slowing closing in on normality again...
