Students from across the UK and Japan came together this week at Murray Edwards College in the University of Cambridge. The goal was to learn about cutting edge science, while also learning more about Japanese and British culture. One group was tasked with learning about science communication, and making two podcasts about science. Their podcasts would explore the science going on in Cambridge, and how their peers were faring in their groups. Here is The Science Behind Science, taking a look at jet engines. This podcast was made by Will Adler, Yuna Sakuma, Hajime Nakakura and Isra Shaikh, and explores the work improving jet engines that's going on in the Whittle Lab in Cambridge.
