An operative resection specimen from a 48 year old woman who presented with a long history of menorrhagia and dysmenorrhoea. There had also been some pain and swelling in the abdominal wall for the past three years. A subtotal hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and excision of endometrium in the abdominal wall was performed with no post-operative complications.
